Upper Garden at Mount Vernon

Upper Garden at Mount Vernon

In the last post, I talked about two great varieties of boxwood for small spaces, and I mentioned that you can see them at Mount Vernon. Well, we went up there this weeknd and I had MJ snap a few pictures so you can see what they look like as they fill in. As always, the gardeners at Mount Vernon do an amazing job.

In something completely unrelated, Mount Vernon brings in a camel for the holidays. Having never encountered a camel in person, I was amazed at how docile he was- more like a sweet little puppy than anything else.
